I don’t believe in “the impossible” because at the age of 20, I was given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to move to Los Angeles - then New York - for my then (and still) favorite ABC TV show Ugly Betty. I started as a production assistant on set with the actors but quickly moved up to the office as an associate producer’s assistant.
Social media wasn’t really a big thing then, but we managed to spearhead many behind-the-scenes exclusives, as well as booking publicity, TV segments/interviews, and loads of images/content. I was lucky enough to grow up on this set with this incredible cast and crew and we joke about now if we had more interactive and digital media back in 2008 when our show was at it’s peak.
